Maddy Wiley, MSN, ARNP Family Nurse Practitioner Maddy has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since her graduation from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980. She was granted a Master of Science in Nursing degree upon graduation and was subsequently certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association, ARNPs United and the Washington State Nurses Association. She is a past officer of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Maddy is the recipient of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Washington State Outstanding Nurse Practitioner award for 1999. She is on the Editorial Board of the Nurse Practitioner Journal. Along with Bob Smithing, MSN, ARNP she has been the co-editor of ARNP Care since 1989. She is the co-founder and Associate Editor of website NP Central. She is a clinical faculty member for the University of Washington. Several times a year she can be found teaching classes on suturing, biopsies and dermatologic procedures.
